Apple will soon allow customers to pick up their Apple Watch orders in the company’s retail locations.
The in-store pickup option for the Apple Watch isn’t exactly live just yet even though it appears in Apple’s online store during checkout. When selected, Apple Retail locations may be marked as “Unavailable for pickup”, though certain retail stores say that the Apple Watch will be available for pickup “soon”.
It’s possible that this could signal that the Apple Watch may arrive in retail stores for sale relatively soon, but it seems likely that customers will still need to order online for a bit longer. Shipping estimates for all models of the watch still sit in July for anyone that orders one now, and it’s unlikely that Apple will have enough stock of the Apple Watch for retail stores until sometime in June at the earliest.
