Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced on China’s Weibo that the Redmi Note 2 will be unveiled on June 29.
Unlike the first-generation Redmi Note — which was sold in 3G and LTE-enabled versions, the standard edition of the Redmi Note 2 will feature 4G connectivity out of the box.
