Straw 2.0 improves on what is already a gorgeous polling experience

Straw version 2.0 has hit the App Store. This release is a massive update to the polling platform enjoyed by many that introduces a variety of improvements.

We hope you’re ready for some serious user interface improvements as the Straw team have been hard at work getting the iOS app updated with a new reference design. . While the developers trust you will all notice and appreciate the improvements made to the overall look and feel of the app, we’ll add that Straw 2.0 looks absolutely stunning.

Aside from the new looks, the Straw team have added StrawCast, a new feature that lets you broadcast your poll to everyone who has the app installed, as well as anyone who happens to be following the @strawcast Twitter handle. The feature is billed as an ideal way for poll creators to increase their reach and receive more feedback from those who may be outside your social circle.

But that’s not all, with Straw 2.0 they’ve also managed to include an all-new way to sign up and log into your Straw accounts. Simply login through your chosen social network account and you’re good to go. Poll results can not be set to private, for those times when you don’t wish the public to witness the outcome. Finally, you can edit polls in realtime and even embed them to external websites. See the official blog post for more details.

Give Straw 2.0 a download from the App Store and let us know how you get on.
