PhotoSweeper update brings support for the new OS X Photos app

PhotoSweeper for Mac has been bumped up to version 2.1 today, bringing with it support for Apple’s new Photos app in the process.

If you’re unfamiliar with PhotoSweeper, it’s an app that helps you efficiently eliminate duplicate photos in your collection. With today’s update you’ll now be able to more easily manage that task with pictures stored in the new Photos app in OS X 10.10.3 as well. Here’s the breakdown of what’s new in PhotoSweeper 2.1.0:

  • Apple Photos support.
  • Made PhotoSweeper even more awesome by fixing issues reported by our customers.

This follows a pretty update to PhotoSweeper version 2.0 earlier this year that brought a whole new UI. While today’s update is fairly small in comparison, support for Photos should be a welcome change for users.
