BlackBerry Leap arrives in the Philippines May 30th with special offers from Globe Telecom

BlackBerry customers in the Philippines looking to get their hands on a brand new BlackBerry Leap won’t have much long to wait now. As announced by BlackBerry, the device will be made available starting May 30th with retail pricing set at PHP 13,490 through MemoXpress stores.

Cameron Vernest, Managing Director, Philippines, at BlackBerry, said: “With an all-touch screen, BlackBerry Leap rounds out our portfolio of BlackBerry 10 devices, offering an affordable choice to mobile professionals who require a smartphone that safeguards sensitive communications and keeps them productive.”

Additionally, BlackBerry also announced today an exclusive prepaid mobile internet promotion with Globe Telecom, available to customers who purchase a BlackBerry 10 smartphone from a MemoXpress store. Purchasing the new BlackBerry Leap or BlackBerry Z3 will earn you 700MB of mobile internet per month, for the first 3 months, while purchasing a BlackBerry Classic or BlackBerry Passport, will earn you 1GB of mobile internet per month for the first two months.
