If you were jamming out to Apple Music‘s official radio station, Beats 1, that “always-on” description may seem a little off right now. The station appears to be suffering a technical difficulty at the moment and is down for some, if not all.
If you try to play Beats 1 on your iOS device, it’s currently throwing up error -12880, while iTunes on desktop simply doesn’t load anything. Given that it’s launch day for the station, the downtime isn’t entirely surprising, but hopefully things will be cleared up shortly.
Update: Well, that was quick. The outage appears to be cleared up now, so you can get right back to bobbing your head to the sweet tunes coming out of Beats 1.
