Apple Watch now available at Australian Apple Stores, headed to U.S. stores tomorrow

The Apple Watch is finally headed to Apple retail stores, starting with Australia.

If you’ve been waiting patiently to get your hands on an Apple Watch at a physical Apple retail store, it looks like you shouldn’t be waiting too much longer. The wearable is now showing as available for purchase at Australian Apple stores, meaning availability shouldn’t be too far off for other countries as the date rolls over to June 17.

It’s unclear if the rollout is limited to certain countries, but it looks like the Apple Watch will at least be available in the U.S. in addition to Australia. According to a chat with Apple support, sent to us by iMore reader Matthew Poplin, Apple stores in the U.S. will offer the wearable starting tomorrow, June 17:

As far as picking one up is concerned, it looks like the reservation process is still in effect. Prospective buyers will have to make an appointment with their local store online before going in to make their purchase.
